Scarborough Fair

"Sorry." he nodded.

"Well, you're the expert when it comes to this," she said smiling,"where should we go?"

"We'll go to my cottage." he said. It was the first place he could think of. He hesitantly took her hand and pulled her with him.

(Sounds fine to me. As long as its like Disney magic and not like Harry Potter magic. Does that make any sense?)

"Alright," she walked along with him.

He smiled, leading her along. After almost an hour, they reached the little cottage at the edge of town that he lived in.

"I've never been in one of these before," she said smiling.

"You'll never want to be in one again." he mumbled, opening the door for her. The cottage was small, consisting of only one room, which was poorly furnished. The bed was old, and sat on the floor, the small bedside table was poorly made. A pile of hay was stowed in the corner near the fireplace, two stools near it.

"It is simple," she admitted, sitting herself on one of the stools,"I wouldn't mind sleeping in the hay."

He smiled softly.
"I wouldn't advise it unless you want to be covered in ash." he said before going over and piling a little onto the embers in the fireplace. He blew on them gently and they began to smoke before igniting.

"I see," she said laughing,"I'm not used to this, I see."

"You'll get used to it." he smiled slightly. He set his Lute against the wall and put his hat down on the small table, revealing his shaggy, dirty blond hair.

"I've never really seen your hair before," she said smiling.

He smiled slightly.
"I don't really take my hat off around you." he laughed slightly, taking the few coins he'd earned earlier and setting them on the table, "We'll go to town later and get you some more clothes." he said, kicking the wall so a bard popped out. He took a pouch from behind it and picked the coins back up, dropping them inside it.

"Oh, I picked up a bag of coins and hid it with the flowers," she said getting a bag out from the basket. They were a good twenty or so coins inside it.

"Good idea." he smiled slightly, kicking the board back in place. He looked around, "We might have to go now, actually."

"Feels like centuries since I've been out of the tower, feels nice to be out of it," she said smiling and getting up.

"I suppose it would. Why didn't you leave it before?' he asked, picking his lute and hat back up and putting them both on.

"Well, I don't really know," she said thinking some.

"It doesn't seem as if anyone was stopping you." he said, leading her along.

"My father probably would," she said thinking about it more,"if he ever found out I left, that would be terrifying. Even more than the loudest thunderstorm."

He nodded, shuddering as he thought about it. Being with her right now gave him a shot at his worst fear. Being thrown in jail.

"Don't worry though," she said smiling,"he won't find out. That tower is always locked, and he doesn't even have a key to it."

He nodded slightly.
"Right." soon they were in the market, "Here." he handed her his money, "Use your own for what you'd like. but take mine and go buy some food. I'm gonna go try and make more."

"Okay," she said smiling. She bought herself a few dresses, sticking with cheaper ones. She also bought a loaf of bread with his money.

Talon moved around through the crowd, entertaining everyone.
